Role Description
We seek a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Compliance Specialist to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for a recent graduate with a strong command of the English language and a good academic record in law. As a Junior Compliance Specialist, you will advocate for our sellers, representing their interests in communications with Amazon and assisting in various compliance-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Seller Advocacy and Representation
- Appeals and Communications: Act as the representative for Amazon sellers in communications and appeals regarding decisions and requests from Amazon.
- Brand Selling Restrictions: Assist sellers in obtaining approval for selling under restricted brands.
- Customer Authenticity Complaints: Address complaints concerning the authenticity of products sold.
- Intellectual Property (IP) Complaints: Manage IP-related issues, including copyright or trademark infringement claims.
- Account Suspensions and Product Listing Issues: Appeal account suspensions, product listing issues, and related matters.
- Negotiation and Dispute Resolution: Negotiate with Amazon to resolve disputes and achieve favorable outcomes.
- Compliance Monitoring and Reporting
- Policy Updates: Stay updated with Amazon’s policies and guidelines to ensure seller compliance.
- Compliance Reports: Prepare regular reports on compliance status and issues for internal review.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks related to compliance and recommend corrective actions.
- Client Support and Communication
- Client Communication: Provide timely updates and responses to client inquiries related to compliance issues.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of communications and actions taken on behalf of sellers.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure coordinated efforts in compliance and seller support.
- Feedback Loop: Provide feedback to the product and operations teams based on seller experiences and issues.
Requirements:
- Education: Fresh graduate with a law degree (minimum grade: Good).
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex situations and provide clear, concise recommendations.
